Pregnancy cravings?

Well I haven't really had any specific cravings that I've noticed, mostly just anything sweet! Probably not the best craving to have but at this point I don't really care! My friend at work made these lovely little peanut butter bars the other day and they were so good I had to have the recipe... and then immediately go home and make some. :) Thought I would share the recipe with all! Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Peanut Butter Bars

1 C. brown sugar
1 C. sugar
1 C. margarine
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 C. peanut butter
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 C. flour
2 C. oatmeal

Combine sugars, margarine, vanilla, eggs, peanut butter with mixer. Then add baking soda, salt, flour and oatmeal and mix with wooden spoon or mix all in kitchen aid. Spread evenly onto greased jelly roll pan and Bake @ 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Cool and spread thin layer of peanut butter then top with chocolate frosting.

Frosting:
1 cube margarine
6 Tbsp milk
3 Tbsp cocoa
1 pound powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla

Combine margarine, milk, and cocoa in saucepan and cook on low till bubbles around edges. Remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar and vanilla with hand mixer till smooth, and spread over peanut butter. Enjoy!!!

It must be a "baby girl" thing. I totally craved sweets with my girl and salty with my boys. Now, I'm really regretting it. These look really yummy!

I'm not pregnant but I think I'm going to have to make some. It's been forever since we've seen you guys...hope all is well:) I too breathed a sigh of relief when the duck hunt ended. Of course the rest of the year John just whines about not being able to hunt which is annoying so I haven't decided which is worse?
