For those of you who don't already know...

No I'm not pregnant.... :) But, I did quit my job! Its been a long time coming but Scott and I finally made the decision that we are probably ok for me to be a stay at hom mom. :) I'm super excited about it and I hope my kids are too. I gave my work a 2 month notice and now I'm on the home stretch... 3 more weeks! My official last day of work is Friday, August 12th. Just in time for summer to be over I know but just in time for one final summer vacation and then to get Canyon ready to start preschool. I'm excited to spend lots of time with my kiddos and to work on my Etsy shop a little more. I've also taken on a side project to help perfect my cupcake baking skills and you can read all about it on my cupcake blog. :) http://myadventuresincupcakes.blogspot.com/

Also... since I've been neglecting my blog so much this summer... here is a recap in pictures of what we've been up to.

Our first ER trip...

Savanna decided it would be a good idea to stick a little plastic pearl up her nose last night. Of course she decided to do this at 10:00 at night and when her daddy was in Wyoming working. After giving her a bath and trying to teach her how to blow bubbles failed miserably I tried to blow it out (something my mom read on line) by clogging her other nostril and putting my mount on hers and blowing hard. No luck. My last resort was to try and suck it out with the vacuum. I got her lip a couple times but no success. We decided to drive to the hospital at 11:00 at night and pay the $100 copay to let them get it out. Awesome. She is doing much better now and is never going to do that again...
