And played with cousins.

I'd have to say it was a pretty perfect day! Today on the other hand... we went back to work. :(

Baby Savanna - 8 weeks old!

Ok so I feel really guilty with my second child... I really have probably only taken 1/4 of the pics I took when I had Canyon! I feel horrible! Its hard with two though because I'm busy taking care of both of them and not just sitting around watching one and taking pics. I guess that's ok though right? Anyway, here are some pics of Savanna. She is 8 weeks old already!

Saturday Fishing

Saturday we decided to take Canyon fishing at a park in Provo and he had so much fun! He fed fruit loops to the ducks, fished with daddy and played on the swings and slides. It was the perfect location for Canyon because when he got tired of one activity there were ten other options for him. He had a great time and we are definitely going back soon! Oh ya, the park is called Nielsen's Grove Park and its on Sandhill Rd just past Orem Walmart a little ways. Its such a great place for little kids, so fun!

Meet Biggie

My mom and I found this sweet backpack at the Holy Cow craft boutique on Saturday and Canyon loves it. He carries around all of his toys and his diapers and sippy cup wherever we go. Its great! It has a lion that rides in the pouch and he can take it out and put things in the lion too. He named the lion Biggie... not really sure where he got that one. Its cute though!

Savanna's Blessing Day

This post is a little late but better late than never! Savanna's Blessing day was last Sunday and everything went really well! Scott gave her a wonderful blessing even though he was super stressed out about it. I was able to hear some of it... Canyon wasn't cooperating so well while I was trying to listen. Oh well, the parts I heard were good and everyone told me he did a really good job. We had lunch at the Facer's afterwards and there was just enough of a break in the rain storms we had been having to allow us to eat outside in the sunshine. It was perfect weather. Savanna looked so cute in her dress and she only spit up all over it about 10 times. She even waited until everything was almost over to choose to have a blowout diaper and get it all over her white dress. No worries though, I used tons or oxyclean and spray'n wash and its as good as new now! All in all it was a perfect day. :)

Slimmer in 6... hopefully!

Do you think I can lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks? Haha, me neither but at least I can try and hopefully at least lose some. Today I started this lovely program. I guess we'll see if I'm "slim in 6" and then we'll know if it really works! As of today I am 30 pounds heavier than I was when I got married over 3 years ago. Although it would be awesome to lose 30 pounds and be that small again I think I will be more than happy if I can lose 20. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it!
